I have just stumbled across the greatest Tumblr ever. thehawkeyeinitiative posts submissions of “strong female character poses” replaced with that of Hawkeye to show how women’s bodies are exploited in comic books. Everything is so wonderful.
For those who don’t know I complain about Starfire’s representation constantly, especially in regards to her most recent portrayal in the New 52. I mean, I know she’s hot, but really, a whole issue should not be devoted to her sleeping with dudes (she is a superhero capable of kicking actual ass, not, well… you know…)
Plus, I ship her and Raven 5ver. (canon-proof below)
